The newest addition to Main Street Rogers as well as Downtown Rogers itself, the Downtown Rogers Farmers Market opens April 30 and goes all summer long. Main Street Rogers and its new Farmers Market will develop a certified commissary kitchen for farmers and the local community. From partnerships with restaurants to demonstrations on how to cook locally grown produce, this concept builds on the momentum happening in Rogers’ booming downtown.

Razor Rail

Main Street Rogers works in partnership with the Arkansas Missouri Railroad for this event. The train will transport people from Downtown Rogers to Fayetteville for a University of Arkansas Razorback game. Passengers can choose to either exit the train on Dickson Street or continue the journey to the Razorback football stadium. While onboard passengers enjoy delicious food and beverages in the fully restored train cars on the hour long trip to Fayetteville. Be sure to check it out!

The Downtown Rogers Frisco Festival was selected by the readers of Celebrate Arkansas magazine for the “Very Best 2013” as the best Annual Festival. The Walton Family Foundation, University of Arkansas, Northwest Arkansas Regional Planning Commission and Enterprise Community Partner are partnering on this project looking at housing in NWA. The goal is to define an approach for responsible regional housing growth over the next 10 years that is inclusive of the needs across all income levels. The hope is that the Regional Housing Report becomes a tool that local stakeholders can leverage with funders and legislators, and builds the community will to address this looming regional challenge.

These public meetings will be a workshop format with small groups discussing housing needs, barriers, challenges, etc.
Please share these flyers with your co-workers, civic groups, friends and family.
