Main Street Rogers

About Us

Main Street Rogers is a vibrant community of people, businesses and organizations dedicated to revitalizing, promoting and enhancing the Rogers Historic District.

Our vision is to “enrich today, by celebrating yesterday, for a prosperous tomorrow.” Every day, the supporters, volunteers and leaders of Main Street Rogers ensure the vitality and prosperity of the historic district through continued success in preservation, business retention and recruitment, historic tourism and events that will sustain smart growth.

While we work to preserve and restore the historic atmosphere of downtown Rogers, we are also looking to the future… actively seeking innovative ideas and cultures by creating a new community filled with vitality and prosperity. We firmly believe there’s “something new around every corner.” That can mean literally…with a new shop opening up. Or it can mean with time … there’s always something new happening in Rogers. The innovation and vitality of our past is being translated to the present, and our future as we grow.

Our History

Main Street Rogers was first welcomed into the Rogers, Arkansas community in 1985 with the idea that it would energize the entire community through revitalizing the downtown region. The program is a branch of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, which is a revitalization program available to historic downtown districts to help them accomplish just what Main Street Rogers strives to do: enhance the soul of the city. That’s our motto, by the way, the words we at Main Street Rogers live by.

Main Street Rogers Downtown

What We Do

Main Street Rogers is guided by a four-point approach to rejuvenating historic downtown districts:

  • Business Improvement (working with existing businesses to improve and expand while recruiting new businesses);
  • Design (creating a look and feel within the Historic Downtown Rogers District that highlights our heritage but creates a modern touch);
  • Organization (encouraging folks to work together towards the common goal of preservation and smart growth); and
  • Promotion (getting the word out about what the Historic Downtown Rogers District has to offer).

The Faces Behind Main Street Rogers
