Rogers Community Christmas Parade Winners
Announced
Main Street Rogers announces the winners of the 23rd annual
Christmas Parade held Monday night in Historic Downtown Rogers. From
approximately 86 entries, 4 were chosen as award winning.
Spectacular Sparkles is awarded to the entry that
presents an outstanding display of lights and/or other type of
illumination. NW Arkansas Corvette Club was named the
winner of this award.
The Elfin Magic Award goes to the entry that best
features children as part of the entry. Benton County School
of the Arts Children’s Choir was the winner of this award.
The Glory of Angels Award goes to an outstanding entry
that illustrates a religious theme. First United Pentecostal
Church was named the winner of this award.
The Knock Your Stockings Off Award is given to the
overall outstanding entry illustrating the parade theme: A Jingle
Bell Christmas. Rogers Public School Transportation
was named the winner of this award.
The parade also welcomed Santa and Mrs. Claus to the Rogers Historic
District this year. Main Street Rogers will host Santa at a
specially designed Santa House in Centennial Park which will be open
the Fridays and Saturdays, December 7-8, 14-15 and 21-22. Hours each
weekend will be Fridays from 5-7pm and Saturdays from 10am-4pm.
Photos with Santa will be available for a small fee, with proceeds
benefiting Main Street Rogers programs. Children may also deliver
their letter to Santa in a specially marked box in the Park at any
time. Letters will be displayed in Main Street Merchant windows
throughout the month.
